Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026. Last updated: August 4, 2026.

This policy describes the information Covenant Daily stores and the access rules currently implemented in the application.

1. Information We Store

Covenant Daily stores account identifiers and email information supplied by the authentication provider, profile information you choose to save, application preferences, subscription status, reading progress, habits and completions, prayer entries, saved verses, devotional notes and saves, circle memberships, circle posts, and challenge activity.

2. How Information Is Used

Covenant Daily uses this information to authenticate your account, provide the features you request, enforce plan access and limits, preserve progress, process billing state, operate private circles, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security records. Covenant Daily does not use application content for advertising and does not sell personal data.

3. Profile and Circle Visibility

Your profile is available to you and to authenticated members who share an accountability circle with you. Circle records, member lists, posts, and prayer shares are available only to members of the relevant circle. A prayer remains private unless you intentionally share it with a circle.

4. Billing and Service Providers

Stripe processes subscription checkout, payment methods, invoices, refunds, and billing-portal activity. Covenant Daily stores Stripe customer, subscription, price, status, period, webhook, and reconciliation identifiers needed to maintain entitlement state. Authentication and database infrastructure are provided through managed service providers used by Covenant Daily.

5. Security and Operational Records

Covenant Daily uses row-level security, restricted server functions, signature-verified Stripe webhooks, bounded audit logs, and error records. No security control can guarantee absolute protection, but access policies are enforced at the database and server boundaries rather than relying only on the browser interface.

6. Retention and Deletion

Account deletion is available in Settings and permanently removes the account data covered by the deletion workflow. Covenant Daily does not currently provide a self-service data-export feature. Billing records retained by Stripe, security logs, and records that must be preserved for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations may follow separate retention requirements.

7. Policy Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected by a revised effective date and updated text on this page before the changed policy is represented as current.
