Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Covenant Daily, a Christian spiritual growth application. By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing Premium, or otherwise using Covenant Daily, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Covenant Daily provides tools for daily Scripture reading, prayer journaling, habit tracking, saved verses, accountability circles, devotionals, and community challenges. Certain features are available only with Covenant Daily Premium.

2. Free Plan

The Free plan is available without a subscription charge and includes the features identified as free within the application. Covenant may change Free-plan features prospectively, but any material change will be reflected in the application.

3. Covenant Daily Premium and Seven-Day Free Trial

Covenant Daily Premium has a regular price of $9.99 USD per month before applicable taxes and any valid promotional discount shown at Stripe Checkout.

Each Premium checkout begins with a seven-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Covenant Daily does not charge the Premium subscription fee during the seven-day trial.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid monthly Premium subscription. Stripe will charge the payment method on file $9.99 USD, plus applicable taxes and less any valid promotional discount, when the seven-day trial ends.

4. Billing Date and Automatic Renewal

Your first paid billing date is the date and time your seven-day trial ends. After the first payment, Covenant Daily Premium renews automatically every month on the recurring billing schedule displayed in Stripe Checkout and the Stripe-hosted billing portal unless you cancel before the next renewal.

You authorize Stripe, our payment processor, to charge the payment method associated with your subscription for each recurring payment, applicable taxes, and any other amount clearly disclosed and accepted at checkout.

If a payment fails, Premium access may be limited, suspended, or canceled according to the resulting Stripe subscription status. Billing records and invoices generated for the subscription are available through the Stripe-hosted billing portal.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel Covenant Daily Premium at any time through the Manage billing control in Covenant Daily Settings, which opens the Stripe-hosted billing portal.

To avoid the first charge, you must cancel before the seven-day trial ends. If you cancel after a paid billing period begins, the cancellation stops future renewals and Premium access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period unless Stripe states otherwise during cancellation.

6. Refunds

Premium subscription charges are non-refundable and are not prorated for partial billing periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorized, duplicate, or incorrect charge.

7. Price or Plan Changes

Covenant Daily may change Premium pricing or plan features prospectively. Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be disclosed before it applies to a future renewal, as required by applicable law. Continuing the subscription after the disclosed effective date constitutes acceptance of the changed recurring price.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, including journal entries, prayer requests, notes, posts, and saved material. You are responsible for content you submit and for ensuring that you have the right to share it.

9. Community Guidelines

Accountability circles and shared content must remain respectful and consistent with Christian community values. Covenant may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or community safety requirements.

10. Service Availability and Account Termination

Covenant Daily may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. You may stop using Covenant Daily at any time and may request account deletion through Settings. Account deletion does not by itself create a refund right for a charge that was validly incurred before deletion.

11. Disclaimer

Covenant Daily provides spiritual-growth and organizational tools. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or pastoral advice tailored to your circumstances.

12. Support and Notices

Covenant Daily provides an in-product Help & Support surface where signed-in users can submit support requests and retain a request reference. Subscription controls, invoices, and payment-method management remain available through the Stripe-hosted billing portal.

Support requests do not create a guaranteed response-time commitment unless Covenant separately states one for a specific request or service level.
